Wireless expert Stuart Tewksbury
Stuart Tewksbury is chair of Stevens' Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. After receiving his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Rochester, he joined the Research Division of AT&T Bell Laboratories where his research activities covered digital signal processing systems and architectures, signal coding, semiconductor devices, high-temperature superconductor applications, high-performance microfabricated packaging, optical interconnects, and parallel computing/networks. At West Virginia University, he developed education and research programs in microelectronic systems and technologies, interconnections for microelectronic systems, scientific visualization, and wafer scale intintegration. The author of a considerable number of publications on a variety of research topics, Tewksbury is senior editor of IEEE Press's Series on Microelectronics Systems: Principles and Practices. He also served as program or general chair for several IEEE conferences.
