Dr. Robert Downs has been teaching courses in Management and Computer Science for over twenty years and has been teaching at the Stevens Institute of Technology since 1999. He has over thirty years of professional experience that has included entrepreneurship, systems development, management, consulting, teaching, and research. During the past two decades, he has been focusing on the management and development of information systems and previously focused on project and process management in the construction and manufacturing industries. His research investigates the design, development, management, use, and stewardship of information systems. Dr. Downs earned the Doctor of Philosophy degree in Information Management from the Stevens Institute of Technology and earned the Master of Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, concentrating in Organizational and Social Science.
