Mr. Portes is a Principal at Best Project Management and an Affiliate Professor of Project Management at Stevens Institute of Technology. He has twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries, and managed technology transfer, validation, capital, process improvement, compliance, Six Sigma, process excellence, supply chain, quality, IT, and procurement projects and programs for eighteen years, mostly at Fortune 100 organizations. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), and a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).  He has a Masters degree in Chemical  Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the Catholic University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
