Donna Stueber is an adjunct professor for the Howe School of Technology Management at Stevens Institute of Technology. A mathematics teacher within the NJ public schools system, Professor Stueber spent most of her career at Merck in various management positions. Stueber sent 10 years as a member of the CIO's executive team and was responsible for building and implementing the IT strategy and program management functions. She implemented portfolio management, program management, IT governance, and IT Shared Services. She also led a global PC life cycle program in which six-sigma techniques were used to implement new processes globally, resulting in significant savings and standardization.
Prior to her strategy work, Stueber led various IT application groups, including Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, and Compliance. During this time, she co-led several national SIM working groups, co-authored white papers on IT process management and building applications. Stueber also co-authored a white paper on virtual HR organizations and the use of IT.
Ms. Stueber has been a member of SIM, the CIO Executive Board, and the Conference Board.
