Technical Writing Specialist Bronwyn Mills

Bronwyn Mills holds a Ph.D. in comparative literature from New York University and two masters degrees, an MFA in writing in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and an MSW in medical social work from the University of Michigan. She has taught in the department of American Culture and Literature as well as serving as the Director of the Writing Center at Kadir Has University in Istanbul, Turkey.  Dr. Mills now teaches Caribbean and Latin American Literature as well as several writing courses at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. Prior to working in the academic world, Dr. Mills worked for 15 years as a technical writer and journalist. In the corporate world, she has worked for DuPont, filled contracts for Johnson & Johnson, Citibank, NIDA (National Institute on Drug Abuse), Medicus Group, KPR, Klempter, Vital Health Care, Gross, Townsend, Franklin, & Hoffmann, Biofocus, Inc., and Connecticut Mutual Life. She has also written extensively on the arts. She has taught writing at NYU, the University of Massachusetts and Stevens, for whom she also led students on an educational tour of Costa Rica.
