Graph theorist and algorithm expert Appajosyula Satyanarayana

Appajosyula Satyanarayana, known as “Satya,” whose research is in graph theory, algorithms and network reliability, joined Stevens Computer Science Department after teaching at the University Wisconsin. His research is in graph theory, algorithms, and network reliability. At Stevens, Satya received several notable awards—-Jess Davis Research, Alexander Humphrey Distinguished Teaching Associate Professor, and Henry Morton Distinguished Professor Teaching, in addition to M. Eng.,Honoris Causa. He received his B.S. and M.S. from Andhra University and his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, all in India. Satya was guest editor of IEEE Transactions on Reliability and Associate Editor of Networks.
