Thomas Carroll is a finance and operations executive with 25 years management experience in academic and corporate settings.  His areas of expertise include investment management, budgeting, financial and strategic planning, facilities and capital construction management, human resources, and financial accounting and reporting.

He has taught approximately 30 accounting, finance and economics courses at Wagner, Stevens, and Raritan Valley at the graduate and undergraduate level, in classroom settings and online.  

Carroll has worked for Wagner College as Vice President for Finance and Administration. He was responsible for approximately 125 employees in a number of different departments. He was also responsible for legal, risk management and insurance matters as well as purchasing functions. 

He was also the Vice President for Finance and Administration at Raritan Valley Community College. There, he oversaw approximately 140 employees and was responsible for legal, risk management and insurance matters.

Carroll was the Stevens Institute of Technology Director of Budgeting and Planning. He was responsible for annual and long-term budgeting, financial analysis, and fixed asset tracking and disposition. 

He has over 15 years of business experience in management and financial positions and is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Carroll is a member of several professional organizations including New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), Institute of Certified Management Accountants (IMA), and was an Executive Board member of North Jersey Shore Chapter of IMA.

Carroll holds several degrees including: Doctor of Education, University of Pennsylvania; MBA, Vanderbilt University; B.S. in Forestry, Rutgers University.
