A study of safety practices in the construction industry. The course is designed to make the construction professional familiar with the safety procedures used in safety management of a construction project. Students will study the safety risks inherent in a construction project, the roles of government, the judicial system, the insurance industry, designers and project owners in safety management and the economic impact of injuries.
